Contemporary Restaurant Marriott

A contemporary restaurant conceived as a dramatic yet intimate spatial experience. The project explores contrast between weight and lightness, reflection and shadow, ritual and comfort. The spatial narrative unfolds through a sequence of defined zones. A sculptural candle installation at the entrance creates a ceremonial threshold, setting a tone of warmth and anticipation. The monolithic console and reflective ceiling element enhance verticality while amplifying the soft glow of natural flame. The main dining hall is structured around a rhythmic composition of suspended glass pendants. Their fluid, organic forms introduce movement above the tables, creating a floating canopy of light. This installation becomes the emotional centerpiece of the space — expressive yet controlled. Materiality is rich but restrained. Dark glossy tiles, warm wood flooring, leather upholstery, and layered textiles create depth and tactility. The bar backdrop, composed of illuminated shelving, adds a graphic vertical accent while reinforcing the atmosphere of evening sophistication. Lighting is central to the project’s identity. Reflections in smoked glass surfaces and polished elements intensify the perception of space, while warm tonal balance ensures intimacy and comfort. The restaurant merges contemporary elegance with sensory theatricality. It is an interior defined by proportion, shadow play, material richness, and curated spatial drama.
