About
About
A boutique hotel in Ubud conceived as a quiet architectural composition immersed in tropical landscape. The project is structured as a series of pavilion volumes with expressive pitched roofs, reinterpreting local typologies through a contemporary lens. Each building is positioned to preserve views, privacy, and natural airflow, creating a harmonious dialogue between architecture and surrounding greenery. The master plan unfolds around a central pool terrace and communal lounge areas, forming the social heart of the hotel. Layered levels, generous overhangs, and shaded verandas respond to the tropical climate while framing curated perspectives of palms and sky. Interiors are designed with a restrained, earthy palette of natural wood, woven textures, stone surfaces, and soft textiles. In the guest suites, warm timber ceilings and tactile finishes create an intimate atmosphere, while custom lighting elements add sculptural presence without disrupting calmness. The project blends tropical modernism with boutique intimacy, focusing on proportion, material authenticity, and a sense of grounded luxury. It is an architecture shaped by climate, context, and slow living.
